Do You Need To Register Your Walkie Talkie In The Philippines
Is it legal to use walkie talkies (2way radios) in the Philippines?
If so, what frequencies are allowed? Also practise I need to have a license from ntc to utilize one?
Unit is something like to the Baofeng bf-888s.
For personal/family use merely.

there are certain frequencies yata na need license but i am not certain anymore. we also have the same kind of 2way radios pero hindi lang gamit kasi lagi naman kaming dikit sa bahay and kung aalis naman kami sabay2x din so parang useless na

Oh ok so meron for some idk yung other freqs, also I use it similar an intercom para yung Tao sa taas hindi magsisigaw, vice versa,

if ur planning to contact other groups/person u need at to the lowest degree a dy license (although this is not strictly enforced)

those radios (baofeng etc) uses standard amateur frequencies vhf/uhf.. then its ok (talamak sila sa online shops)

using hf radios naman this requires license talaga and u cant buy i legally here w/o showing ur license

i recollect so?? my uncle and I uses it here at home. He's a fellow member of the mdrrmo kasi so it'south faster to reach him through a 2way radio

Utilize of radio communication requires you lot to identify yourself with a callsign. You can only accept a callsign if you laissez passer the exam and have the license.
